Having grown up in the mountainous rainforest of Australia and in a chaotic family environment, Manny J Cole spent much of his childhood withdrawing from education and other conventions, and immersing himself in music, art, and his imagination. 

In 2001, with eighteen troubled years of conflict behind him, Manny moved from his home town to the state's capital city to pursue his creative dreams and in hope of a new life. Yet, history repeated itself, and he spiralled into a nervous breakdown, due to a fusion of past resentments combined with survival struggles, relationship breakdown, lack of education and feeling uncertainty for the future.

His life was going down a path of certain destruction, until an inner transformation brought about a radical change in the course of his life. Manny tells of the sudden shift in perspective that arose out of his state of 'self surrender' during the nervous breakdown. Three days of constant 'peak experiences' brought about realizations and awakenings that gave him a whole new perspective on life. 

Manny says that the inner transformation kept him awake for days in an inspired and vital state; spiritually renewed, exploding with creativity, making breakthroughs in existing relationships, and generally enduring an overhaul of old assumptions and opening to new ways of living, thinking and being in the world.

At this point, he dedicated his life to growing and integrating himself in all areas of life, while attempting to discover the greatest possible wisdom related to human experience. He also dreamed up the pseudonym "Manny Molecular" and started performing and composing music under this name. The music was inspired by his new found discoveries and life experiences.

Manny took to working in the community services field for the following years, while researching, synthesizing as much knowledge as possible and integrating these theories together to teach and inspire people through a balance of education and creativity. 

In his own words, "The project's name is a symbol of change, of possibilities, of the act of living one's dreams. It came about in a time when my own life turned around completely. All people want to have a fulfilling life, to love and be loved, to live out their dreams. The yearning to be fulfilled and to actualise our potential is a universal thing. I've started this project as a way of stimulating and inspiring people creatively, intellectually, and spiritually. We want to be able to reach people from all walks of life and to make it fun, exciting and creative, as opposed to being overly formal, dry or didactic. I think with a name like "The Manny Molecular Project" and our unique approach, we'll do just what we've set out to achieve."

Manny has dedicated his adult life to studying and exploring the process he calls "Personal Evolution" (Also known by others as 'Individuation' or 'Self Actualization'). A process of integration, of wisdom, of self cultivation, of living one's truth and one's dreams, the journey towards wholeness and spiritual freedom. This has involved studies in a range of both conventional and alternative disciplines and continual self-reflection, self-experimentation and self development.

Currently focusing on developing the educational and creative transmission of his work and running the project website, Manny's upcoming plans are to run workshops, visual arts and spoken word performances, and one-on-one consulting to assist clients in living an independent and fulfilling life.
